It is only cheap because it is worthless. You might get 5,000 visitors to your site, but they are all robots. And now the “traffic” website has your credit card. That is a problem because many of them keep billing you for months. When you call to complain, no one answers. You have to cancel your credit card to stop them.

You’ll probably get sucky traffic with the cheap traffic site.
That doesn’t mean you cannot make money with cheap traffic… but you need SKILZ (and I somehow doubt you have them at this point) to convert that cheap-o traffic into cash.
What matters most with web traffic is how TARGETED it is. Untargeted traffic is very low value traffic and very tough to make money with.
There’s a legit way to get traffic very cheap called PPV traffic. There are still skills to be learned though.
